AGRONOMIC PERFORMANCE OF CORN FOR SILAGE GROWN AFTER COVER CROPS Sci. Agrar.Paran. / SAP
Silva, Keoma de Freitas da; Costa, Antonio Carlos Torres da; Lázaro, Rafael de Lima; Domukoski, João Fernando; Duarte Júnior, José Barbosa; Oliveira, Paulo Sérgio Rabello de.
This study aimed to evaluate the agronomic performance of corn for silage corn grown after cover crops. The experimental design was a randomized block design with four replications and seven treatments. The treatments were corn grown in the straw 1) oat; 2) oat + oilseed radish; 3) oat + white lupine; 4) white lupine; 5) crambe; 6) spontaneus vegetation (fallow ground) and 7) spontaneus vegetation (fallow ground) + nitrogen fertilizer in the V6 phase in the amount of 100 kg ha-1 N. Were evaluated: plant height, height of ear placement, stem diameter below the ear placement, stem diameter, above the ear insertion, number of leaves below the ear placement, number of leaves above ear placement, diameter and spike length, ear number and yield of green mass...

CHEMICAL PROPERTIES AND PHYSICAL FRACTIONS OF ORGANIC MATTER IN OXISOLS UNDER INTEGRATED AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION SYSTEMS 196
de Moraes Rego, Carlos Augusto Rocha; Oliveira, Paulo Sérgio Rabello de; Piano, Jeferson Tiago; Egewarth, Jonas Francisco; Egewarth, Vanessa Aline; López de Herrera, Juan; Gonçalves Junior, Affonso Celso.
The main cause of decreased soil fertility and soil organic matter content is intensive crop farming with inadequate management. This study aimed to evaluate soil chemical properties, total organic carbon content, physical granulometric fractions (particulate organic carbon and mineral-associated organic carbon), carbon stocks, and carbon management indices of oxisols in different integrated agricultural production systems (IAPSs) with reference to values in a haymaking area and native forest. The experiments were performed using completely randomized design, considering nine differently managed areas, including seven IAPSs and two reference areas (haymaking area and native forest); four soil samples from the 0.00-0.05, 0.05-0.10, and 0.10-0.20 m layers...

Physical properties of an Oxisol under different tillage systems after winter crops and summer crop Sci. Agrar.Paran. / SAP
Scherer, Tiago Luis; Godoy, Graziely; Oliveira, Paulo Sérgio Rabello de; Rampim, Leandro; Corbari, Fabio.
Soil structure is one of the most important attributes for the adaptation of the species and can be evaluated by the density of the soil, macro and micro porosity, aggregate stability, soil strength and permeability, mainly to compare different management systems. In this context, the objective of this study was to evaluate the soil physical properties (macro porosity, micro porosity, total porosity and density) under the effects of dual purpose wheat BRS Tarumã, oat IPR 126, turnip and crambe cultivation, after mechanical and chemical crops management, and after the succession of soybean. The study was conducted in randomized blocks experimental design, in track layout, with three replications. Macro porosity, micro porosity, total porosity and density...
